The Leon Stool
The Leon is a stool cut from a solid section of timber and finished black. The tree’s growth rings sit on the seat and its grain runs down the sides — sit on it, stand a plant on it, or let it hold the evening’s book beside a chair.
Because it is one piece of wood, no two are alike: the rings, the grain and the small checks that open as the timber settles belong to each stool alone. The black finish keeps every one of them legible.
