The Kraft Designer Bench
The Kraft is a bench made of paper — hundreds of layers of kraft paper glued into a honeycomb, held between two board ends with a carry handle. Closed, it is a slim board you carry in one hand. Opened, it draws out into a long bench that bends into curves no rigid bench could follow, and closes into a round stool when you bring its ends together.
The honeycomb is the structure: under weight the paper cells lock against each other, firm enough to stand on. It comes in three paper colours, and when the guests go home it folds flat again and leans against a wall.
