An electric sofa, sometimes called a motorised sofa, moves in one of two ways at a single touch. If family or friends often stay over, an electric extendable brings the seat forward to make a daybed or a bed for overnight guests. It is offered on the Klara, Anderson, Andrea, Bellingham, Casillas, Devon and Mason, and on the Klara and Anderson L-shapes; our extendable sofas and sofa beds page explains how each one opens. If you would rather put your feet up, an electric recliner tilts the backrest back as the footrest comes up. It is offered on the Klara Sofa and Klara Single, the Marcel and the Dahlia, and on the Klara and Marcel L-shapes, and our recliner sofas page covers them.
The Smart Sofa option adds voice control and a USB charging port. It is offered on the Klara, Anderson and Andrea electric extendables, on the Klara and Anderson L-shapes with electric extension, and on the Klara Sofa and Marcel Sofa electric recliners. Say a line such as “I want to watch a movie” or “I want to sleep”, and the sofa extends or reclines on command, hands-free.

Every electric sofa is offered in the pet-friendly Eco-Series leathers, alongside fabrics from bouclé to premium suede, and each one is delivered and assembled in your home.

The Bellingham, Casillas, Devon, Mason, Dahlia, Marcel L-Shape, the Klara Single and the Electric Recliner version of the Klara L-Shaped Sofa are electric but do not offer the Smart Sofa option.

You add it as an option when you configure the sofa on its product page.
Every electric sofa we make is offered in our three Eco-Series leathers, Eco-Lux, Eco-Tex and Eco-Prime, which are the only materials we call pet-friendly. They are water-resistant, scratch-resistant and easy to care for, and they wipe clean with a damp cloth, though like any material they will show light everyday marks over time. You can see and touch all three on the swatch wall at our Bangsar and Kuching showrooms.
Son&Bear electric sofas carry a three-year limited warranty on the frame structure and the movable mechanism, and one year on soft furnishings such as foam, fillings and fabric covers. Other components, including the remote control and the USB charging port, are covered for one year. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, and the full terms are on our warranty page.
Our Kuala Lumpur showroom is at 100 Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, open from 11am to 8pm every day with parking on site, and our Kuching showroom is at Galacity Prime, Jalan Tun Jugah, open from 10am to 7pm every day. Both welcome walk-ins, with no appointment needed, and pets are always welcome. An electric Klara is on the floor at both, and if you would like to try another model, message the showroom before you come to check whether it is on display.
