The Adler Rug in Checkerboard Black

The Adler in Checkerboard Black plays the same small checker in near-black against ivory — the boldest of the Adler patterns, for rooms with the calm to carry it. The raised ivory squares stand proud of the flat black ones, so even at its most graphic the rug stays a texture underfoot.

The Adler comes from Loom & Stone, one of the brands that share the Son&Bear showroom floor — chosen because its patterns and tones sit quietly under our pieces rather than competing with them. It comes in three sizes, from 160 × 213 centimetres at RM1,688 to 239 × 305 at RM2,388, and the price follows the size alone.
