Design

The Barcia Dining Chair

The Barcia is an armless dining chair with a backrest that wraps: the upholstered shell curves forward at its ends, so it meets you at the sides as well as between the shoulders. Behind it, a sculpted solid-wood fork carries the shell and gives the chair its profile from across the room.

The frame is solid wood in five colours, shaped rather than straight, and the seat comes in Eco-Lux, a wipe-clean coated leather, or in a woven fabric that is softer to sit on. One price, whichever way you build it.
