The Alto Extendable keeps the right-angled panel base of the Alto and adds a leaf: 1.3 metres opens to 2.0, and 1.6 to 2.3, so the everyday table and the gathering table are the same piece of furniture.
Both tops sit on the same solid ash base — take the top in solid ash that can be refinished as the years pass, or in sintered stone that resists heat, stains and scratches.
Seat counts are a guide — your chairs and how much elbow room you like decide the real number. Length is the figure to measure against your room, with the chairs pulled out rather than tucked in.
